Hi All
Well 10 days on and just starting to feel a bit better - still on chemo and will be on the long run but just the tablets now. We've had a great day today, church this morning where the youth group led worship, a lazy afternoon and a get together with Amy & James this evening.
I've got a consultant's appointment on the 24th where we discuss what's next treatment wise! Might be going the anti-body route in which case I'll benefit from the new decision by the government to allow 'top-up' treatment. I did ask at my last appointment if there was any chance of surgery (the only hope beside the miraculous of getting fully well) and was told no. This means the treatment remains palliative, keeping the buggering tumour under control for as long as possible. Remember, at the moment it remains 'dorment' with no malignancy evident; this is better than I could have possibly hoped for at this stage. Back in January there was a good chance I wouldn't make it to Christmas so as you imagine this year we are doing Christmas on a grand scale followed by a fantastic French New Year. We are also planning a week in the sun at February half-term.

Glad you are feeling better Dovid.Santa and his little helpers will be very busy by the sound of it!
Been a tough week here. Had to have another beloved pony put down on Friday..this is two in six weeks.
We love our animals so much, that it is a real wrench when something like this happens. We all feel a bit down about it. We needed to get Ben a companion quickly, as he is devastated at losing his partner, but it is hard to think of taking on another pony while still grieving for the other. Still, Blue Cross put us in touch with someone in Dunstable, who has a Shetland mare that needs a new home...so Poppy arrivews on Saturday.. this has given us something to smile about.
You remain in our thoughts and prayers, as we head towards no trace.
We have a great and merciful God on our side.
Hope to see you in the flesh before Christmas...need to give your barnet a ruffle!

It sure is quiet on HERE! Goodness me! this aint a blog! haha! David has no hair. It came out in handfuls -shame =( esp in this weather!
Anyway...I just wanted to "breath" some life into this blog!...
I didn't see y'all at Xchange! It was a fantastic night! I reckon David (Goodson) should make it the event of the year! Heard of GreenBelt?! (I have a vision -haha)

I am glad that you enjoyed the big event, I was working late with the minded kids, so could not get there, and Jacob will not give up his football for anything!
Will make a BIG effort to get to refresh next week.

Poppy, the new addition to the family is settling in nicely, and Ben is much more secure now he has a companion.
Please give Dovid and Florence my love, tell them they remain in our prayers constantly, as do you all.
