OK Guys,
Had a painful swollen gland in my neck for the past two weeks, thought it was just an infection, went to my GP and he's not happy. Been referred to the hospital for an ultra/sound and another bloody biopsy. My oncologist is away so the Upper GI specialist nurse is speaking to his colleauge today. The nasty 'C' could have made the move to my lymph glands. Please pray it hasn't. Also, I really need biopsy results before Christmas. Remember last year, waiting for results from Dec 20th to Jan 3rd doesn't do much for your festive spirit!
Fought and won battle #1 over the main tumour, battle #2 when it looked like it had come back was also won. This is #3; infection only please Lord!
Love
Dave

Hi Dave, Sorry to hear the news about the 'lump' but let's hope the NHS can pull their finger out and get you processed ASAP(!). Hope that you and the family have a fantastic Christmas and that you get a bit of hair back soon - the Kojak look can be a bit chilly in this cold weather. Look after yourself, keep smiling as ever....

We are already blessed by gods miracles, new ones each day...but c'mon Lord, please, quick results, and GOOD results.
I know as you do, that you are in perfect hands, but it must be frustrating when the monster keeps rearing its ugly mug every so often. As the Delirious song says "Stare the monster down".
I know you will keep strong, I know you will keep smiling, and embracing each day with gusto, and you must know that we keep on praying "no trace".
Manure is supposed to have healing properties, so come and roll around in my stable...its bloody fifthy 'cos some lazy sod never turned up to muck it out !!!!! Love you anyway, lightweight.
As always, love to you and Flo, and all the rest of the Ridfin gang.
