WOW!!!! Note The Changed Blog Title

Dear Friends,

Just changed the blog title from 'Cancer Fight' to 'Cancer Survivor'. 18 months with no growth or spread. God, Florence (& my family), the NHS and my friends (WNL Church, Stamps, Hearns, and their Lordships Burrell & Forsell) are so good!

The tumour is not growing, not spreading in fact really behaving its evil self. The swallowing problems are caused by fibrosis from last year's radiotherapy, the worst I'll need is a stent if it gets any worse.

Not got another appointment now until 2010 and, wait for it, no scan beforehand. Might I actually be in the few % of sufferers who survive this disease? Starting to beleive it now.
Have to say I was VERY nervous before this scan. You have to prepare yourself for the worse because if you get bad news and haven't even thought you might where does that leave you? Sleepless night last night and actually felt sick this morning.

So thank-you for your prayers & your friendship.

God Bless

David

I am now smiling even more than before to hear such good news - Does make me think that He has certainly listened to all the requests from everyone for you. We'll have to start calling you Miracle Man!!

I want to shout and jump around the house after hearing your most wonderful news. Words fail me in my attempt to describe the happiness and joy I feel knowing that you are now a 'survivor' - thank goodness God heard everyone's prayers for your well being and recovery. Life is so good having you in the world - it would be a bleak place without your smile. May the sun continue to shine on you, Theresa, your children, family, friends and church. God bless x x

Well Mr. FIVE PERCENT,
What a celebration you, and all of us will be having over the next few days.
Praise God for His faithfulness in answering prayer.
I am so happy for you all, that I will make a solemn promise not to NAG you any more about getting a PONY, in fact I won't even mention it again.
NEIGH lad, all thoughts of ponies have TROTTED out of my mind.My MANE thoughts are of gladness.I shall GALLOP to the fridge and extract another can of rocket fuel to celebrate.HAY! a BIT of booze won't hurt...except to widen my GIRTH a little. Might not feel too STABLE climbing the stairs to bed though.....
Shall I stop now...?
Bless you all Redfernios, and "No Cow Chloe". Looking forward to giving you a celebratory hug at the next Refresh.
Crack open the champers, and get Flo's best purple high heels on, and have yourselves a PARTY!!!!!!!
So much love.......

David,

Hooray!!! Listen old chap, I know you have busy things going on, but Lynne and I have phoned and left messages on your mobile, and sent emails, to no avail!

Only asking you two to come visit, you don't owe us money or anything!

I think maybe the Muslims have something right, God is Great!

Love as always.

Oh Sian, You such a great gal! We love reading your posts, they make us all laugh.
Congratulations too on your new job =)
Carys has started horse riding lessons now! I took her along last Sunday and was almost offered a job! I miss it all actually...Guess who is going to have to take Carys to the beautiful creatures!!! Daddy!! Yay! Now, when they go to marinas they've come home with a boat, when they've gone to a garage, they've come back with a sports car...now! Who knows what he might come back with this time...apart from some horse pancakes on his Doc Martins! (laughing out loud)
Oh I love this! I get teased and so why not tease back?!

It would be good to see you and the ponies!

Thanks again Sian and to all those people who commented, it's so encouraging and I know it's encouraging David mounds too!

Be cool, stay in school, don't do drugs, and never eat yellow snow. peace out,

Luv Chloe x
