Sedation Snoooooooooze....

Hi Guys

Well, the sedation worked this time and I slept soundly through the whole endoscope thing. They got the camera past my oesophagus and into my stomach which is a good sign. They did find a 'patch' which they weren't too happy with and have taken yet another biopsy. Hoping it is just radiation burn and nothing nastier. The waiting for results is a killer.

Went to Brighton yesterday on Kip business; it was packed. The beach was full of people and it was really warm - can it only be March? Off to Glasgow tomorrow to run a seminar. It's good to keep busy if you're waiting for news! If the news is bad I'm retiring - seriously I couldn't work through chemo. Hopefully all will be well. Might get the results tomorrow, if not it will be next week when I'm off to Ireland (Republic and North) with Teresa. Keep praying for me.

I'm leading the youth group (as a guest speaker) at Lidlington Church tonight; they are our sister church in the next village to Wootton. I'm preaching at Southend Methodist in Bedford on Sunday morning.

I'll post again as soon as I have news.

Dave

Dear Dave, Really hoping it is good news with your biopsy results - With this sunny spring weather it gives us all a more positive feeling. I'm taking my Dad in tomorrow for gastroscopy & endoscopy as he's been having gut problems so hoping his news will be good too...we'll wait and see. Your cheerful approach to everything is fantastic and a role model to us all. Take care, Best Wishes, Jane

Thanks to Sian for your prayers - yes my Dad has got thru today OK and they've found some polyps (mushroom like growths which tend to be benign) so he's had those whipped out of his colon and is now snoozing off the sedation! Let's hope Dave gets similar news.
Take care all,
Love Jane x

Good news Jane..blessings to Dad, and praises to God.

C'mon Dovid, c'mon God....no trace.
I love the photo, by the way. What a poser! The barnet looks good enough to ruffle.
I am preaching on Palm sunday...all about "Attitude"..wonder who I got my material from...know anyone with an inspiring attitude?
I will give you a clue....
He is a great big tart who likes to recline in a vibrating chair 30 thousand feet in the air, while posing with a china biscuit and eyeing up the assets of the air crew.
He loves life, he adores his wife and family, and he loves and obeys God.
He lives life in the fast lane. He serves with a generosity of spirit beyond compare. He has the heart of Jesus, and his face positively shines with the love of Christ.
He teases Chloe mercilessly, and leads her a dogs life(!), but he loves his dog!
He is an asset to the Kingdom, and his attitude inspires all those privelaged enough to cross his path.
God is smiling over him tonight...do you know him..if you read this blog, then you certainly do.
He is our brother in Christ, my friend...Dovid of the immaculate spolling.
LOL.
Sianaroonie and the rest of the fan club! x
