Been off-line, BT letting us down again - finally got it sorted!
Well had a great few days went up to Grantham & Lincoln and Grantham at the end of last week with Teresa on Kip business - I resisted the temptation to view the Margaret Thatcher memorial birth place museum - tempted but resisted; opted for stabbing a compass repeatedly into my leg instead as it struck me as more fun! Had a night in a nice hotel full of people having a week's holiday in Grantham (party animals) even the hotel's staff seemed bemused as to why??
On Saturday my mate David came over for the day, met Teresa and the children, walked the dog, had lunch, mucked about on the boat on the boat for a bit, had a laugh. In the evening the highlight of televisual year 'Eurovision Song Contest' I love it! What a FANTASTIC show, we even managed to come in the top 5 (albeit 5th). Moscow did a great job.
On Sunday morning I was preaching at our Clophill congregation, had a great time - this is a lovely welcoming church that is begining to see growth and renewal - it was a joy to lead them in worship.
In the afternoon we nipped to Next (as you do) and, having finally shed all that chemo induced weight I bought a new pair of 32" jeans - WOW. Mr Slinky pants returns. Seriously the medication leaves you bloated and fat and feeling better about myself is great. Keep positive = keep well. On that front I'm feeling fantastic at the moment, got a real bounce in my step. On Saturday went for a run around the country park and last night managed a bike ride with David B which has left me with stiff legs and an aching bum.
We are off to France on Friday, but going down the day before to do a few centre visits for Kip in South West first.
Well think that's about all for now... see ya troops
David

Well Mr Slinky Pants, your blog news is music to my ears - keep well, keep enjoying yourself, keep doing good things, keep believing, keep loving every minute you are alive and all will be well.
Have a great time in France, I wish we were coming with you x
Hey, Mr.Achy Bum,
Sounds like you are bouncing about all over the place!
Good to hear.
I suppose you will make a pig of yourself in Le Francaise, with pizza and plonk, and leaving poor old Chloe to look after the dog....again!
I sort of kind of begrudgingly say that it is a good job you DON'T have ponies other wise he would get lumbered with that an' all!!
Hey, what happened then, what a stupid thing for Sianaroonie to say...of course Chloe would LOVE to have to look after some PONIES in your holiday absences...silly me!
I will continue to pray for good health, peace and the joy of the Lord to reign in your lives.
Have a smashing time at your little cottage, and hope the weather enables you yo do all the things you enjoy.
Steer clear of the frogs legs...as that spring in your step could get higher!
Every blessing to you al,
Sianaroonie.
P.S Wish we were coming as well, but Chloe would end up looking after all our animals as well!
Sorry Chloe, called you "he" not "she", in line eight.........A Dovidian slip, I'm afraid!!!!!
Who the heck is this al I have just sent blessings to?
Meant to say ALL!
I think I need a small dram in my tea this morning.......
Hahah!! It all made me laugh =)
Actually my sister is coming to see me for some of the time and we're doing the touristy stuff but I've also work and trips to Luton to film over the weekend...as well as getting essays and other things completed. It's all good!! =) =)
I sure could pop in anytime though and help out with the ponies if you ever need time off Sianaroonie!! =)
THE SUN IS SHINING TODAY!! Yay.
Speak soon Sian
Love Chlo x
Hi Chlo,
Seems your just as busy as Dovid!
slow down, man.
Anyway, need some advice. Poppy got a severe case of sweet itch... any suggestions? Maybe you could ask Dovid to ask the Blue Cross while he is there, picking out a nice PONY for you and Carys?
Hope you get all your "stuff" done, with time to enjoy all the "touristy" things you have planned. Say Hi to sis from us all in Lid!
Don't expect much blog off Dovid and Flo over the coming week...they will be reclining in a mist of Claret, or St. Emillion, or Cotes de Villages,
or Chateau Lawn Mower Fluid...or whatever.
All, have a peaceful time!
Blessings, and love as always,
Sianaroonie x
O.K, meant to say "you're" in line two
H E L P.
Dovid, you have been a bad influence on me !
