Great News: No Treatment For Now!

Hi All,

Great news; no treatment for now; BRILL! My oncologist feels that although the tumour is still there it is behaving itself and not growing so they'll leave it be - might only be a few thousand cells in actuality. Great news - really wasn't looking forward to more chemo and radiotherapy.

My digestive problems they feel are almost certainly down to a scar damaged oesophagus from the radiotherapy. They also think that there might be some permanent damage to my pancreas from the radiotherapy too. They've put me on yet another drug this time called 'Creon' which gives you the enzymes your mucked up pancreas can't.

Can't beleive I am this stage with no treatment and hardly any cancer. Seems as though God does answer prayer if we ever doubted it.

Thanks for checking in (again)

David

YEY!
Good news.
Great God.

Guess you will have to have a celebratory holiday now....been a while, after all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Course, you could slum it, and just have a day on the yacht, with a bottle of Gordons.
OR.. you could really push the boat out (pardon the pun), and celebrate with a trip to ...yes, the Blue Cross Pony re-homing Centre..........wearing a bit thin that one now Eh?. Oooooh, at least your hair won't be now, will it? Be wearing thin I mean. Wonder if I can get a refund on that Cilla Black style wig...........
Cheek aside, you know how delighted we are that the news is good, but the prayers will keep on coming, as we HURTLE towards "no trace".
Bless you Dovid, and all your "crew".
Love as always,
Sianaroonie. xxxxx

What fantastic, fantastic, fabulioso, brilliant news = as ever I am not surprised by this only relieved that someone as special and as loving as you and your family/friends can prove what positive thinking and belief in God can do! How marvellous and wonderful to hear about your boat excursion and happiness and family times together.

We are taking a leaf out of your book and have put our house on the market with the intention of moving to France - you seem so happy when you are there and have never lost the joy of the place - so here we go - taking the big step, dog and all and hopefully we will be settled in somewhere by the end of the year. No more work - just looking after each other, walking the dog and having a jolly good time. Perhaps we may meet up at some stage - you never know! x x
