Hi Guys
Sorry I didn’t get to post last night, by the time I got back from the church youth group it was a bit late. Last night the kids had asked to look at ‘Insecurities & Angst’ – we based it around Psalm 139:
1O LORD, you have searched me
and you know me.
2You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
4Before a word is on my tongue
you know it completely, O LORD.
5You hem me in--behind and before;
you have laid your hand upon me.
6Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
All good stuff!
I had the PIC line fitted yesterday. It was pretty straightforward really and doesn’t bother me at all. They insert it in the crook of you arm (right for me) and then feed it up a main artery into some valve near your heart. Didn’t feel it going in. An X ray confirms if it is in the right place and then they fit a valve on the end so that you don’t leak too much!
Off for chemo today at 11.30, Teresa’s (my little Florence Nightingale) is taking me and my mum and dad are picking me up – bless em.
Hopefully I’ll be in a fit state to post tonight.
Have a good day; I’ll be sitting down all day – beats work!
Luv ya Dave

You lazy so and so...was going to say "git", but I am too ladylike!
Today I will......get kids ready for school, lunch boxes, brekky, find uniforms, get shouted at 'cos wrong kit clean etc. Then I will,make beds, put in laundry, walk the dogs, feed and clean out ponies, feed ckickens, feed my friends cats, and clean up the poo present that one of them keeps leaving me behind the t.v.
At 9am the minded kids arrive, so will fit in reading time, speech therapy for one of them, drinks, snacks and general demand sorting, then onto lunch, take them to school, hoover, do dishes, prepare dinner, do Storytellers at local school, pick up minded kids from two schools, dish up dinner for 8, then start the whole dogs chicken ponies friends cats thing again!!!!
And during all that, every 20 mins stop to pray like stink for our good, but dossing friend Dovid!!!!
(When I do this, the kids know not to interrupt, because I am chatting with God....ahhh bless them.)
Every minute, of every day, the yearning continues......no trace.
Bless you, and may you have a comfortable day.
Love to Florence.

today I spent my lunchtime in Wesley's Chapel in the City Road. I sat in one of the pews and said my prayers. I am sort of hoping that one of the Wesley family will put a good word in for you as well.
It was so peaceful and the stained glass windows were wondrous. What a wonderful place to pray.
Love and good wishes
Dee
