Bonjour!

Hiya Mad Bloggy Friends,

Firstly thanks for being there for me - you're all brill!

Had a fantastic day today. We slept till 9.00 (lazy or what?) and then I indulged in one of my favourite pastimes - gentle gardening! We did all the hard work last Easter, so it's just a bit of hoeing and mowing, trimming and clipping - very therapeutic. Teresa did some spring cleaning. After lunch we hit the beach at Pont De Trevignon and played footie. Carys and I lost to Teresa and James 8 - 4. The weather was lovely - we've all ended up with red, sun burnt faces even though the temperature was only 15C - better 'lotion up' tomorrow. I was on dinner duty tonight and now we're 'veggin' with trashy TV.

Not felt 100% today, stomach's been dodgy, indigestion a pain but apart from that OK.

I'll blog again tomorrow.

Love

Dave xxxx

I want to try and post a comment on here everyday (during the holidays) each day I do I want to hunt for a quote that I feel sums you up. (there's A LOT to sum up) I'll see how far I get though...a quote a day from Chlo Chlo

Ok so pappa! Today's one is...

"Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all. "

For Teresa...
Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.

(I remember this from when I was younger - the time my mum was a Dr & a cancer specialist, it was a quote from Marie Curie.)

Love You all.

Hi David
I read you reply and like you it's as if I knew what the diagnosis would be. Like you I did not feel anger or 'why me'. They say one in three will develop cancer and I just thought better me than one of my brothers. I live my life like anyone else, with its ups and downs but I am always thankful for each and every day whatever it brings. Thanks be to God. Take care, enjoy your break and know you are in safe hands. Love Jenny x
