Hiya
Had a good day on my dissertation today; I'll even be able to start some stage 1 proof reading tomorrow.
Chemo #3 tomorrow. I'm not really looking forward to it, but bring it on - it's working!
I'm leading XLR8 our church Youth Group tonight. Our pastor (who Teresa and I were at Cliff College with in the 80s) is speaking to the young people tonight about confirmation and leading them in the Lord's Supper (communion) which us Methodists can have before confirmation. He's a good guy, very pastoral, very caring and a number of the youth group are considering confirmation.
My Granddad's funeral is arranged for Monday next weekend so our weekend looks like this:
Thursday evening - night in a hotel at Birmingham Airport.
Friday morning - wave the kids off at 7.00 to Aberdeen, then drive down to Bath.
Friday evening - grown up night in a posh hotel in Bath.
Saturday morning - drive down to Devon to stop with our friends Lynne & Nick until Sunday.
Sunday morning - drive down to my Granddad's in Cornwall.
Monday - funeral in Hayle.
Tuesday - drive back to Bedford.
Wednesday - sleep the weekend off!
Mad eh? Lord give me strength.
